Seriously….Nutrition is a huge part of what we believe in here at CF7. I encourage everyone to take some time and read up on both the Zone diet and the Paleo diet. We will be discussing both more and more both in the classes and on the website.

    SO GLAD today is a rest day – really needed one!

    Since we are talking nutrition, wanted to share a new favorite! My mom gave me this recipe, and it’s a good sub for french fries! Plus it’s yummy! (And, I know, you may be screaming that butternut squash is a high density carb. I think you could sub sweet potatoes and it be just as good!)

    Squash Fries
    1 medium butternut squash
    olive oil
    1 tsp sea salt

    Peel squash and remove seeds. Cut squash into long, thin strips. Place squash in large bowl and generously coat with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and toss. Lay onto baking sheet in single layer. Broil for 15-20 minutes, turning about halfway through.
