225lbs for the dudes?
Thought since its Ryan it would be 275lb or 490lb.
You can never appreciate how much expertise and knowledge our trainers possess until you walk into a random city gym. Even I, with minimal knowledge and training, could do wonders for some of these folks. Simple exercises like the squat are performed incorrectly on equipment meant to make them easier. This particular gym doesn't even have a squat rack from which to perform normal barbell exercises. Machines are packed in from wall to wall while obese people with no clue otherwise giggle to each other uncontrollably. Others that some might consider "fit" hog space in front of the dumbell rack to "check their form" aka masturbate in the mirror. Misinformation and ignorance is rampant. Children asking what supplements they should take. Adults giving them advice. It's all sadly disgusting to me.
Arrogant? Maybe… Enlightened? Definitely…

Today was WOD #2 – it feels SO great to get back in the swing of things! Hopefully in a few days, I'll be able to move some heavy weights!
Had to modify the WOD today, as I wasn't able yet to get into starting position for DLs and not ready for jumping on burpees (soon though!)….did 21-15-9 of PP (75#), situps and ring dips with red band.
Rest day tomorrow = day to work on getting ROM back…
Does anyone know the date? 😉
What an odd thing to ask.
