Diggin all the named WODs lately. Let's get some times up on the board.

    Ryan rocked it. 7:15.
    9:31 for me.

I think Ryan did extra pullups and thrusters…totally destroyed it – awesome work!

11:16 for me – first time as rx'd and did 11 pullups in a row! YAHOO! (I know 11 doesn't seem like a big deal, but it took me a YEAR to do one.)

Andy – thank you for the picture!

Jackie was fun today! I got 9:26…but the award goes to Andrew! with 6:something rediculous. Nice job, pull ups unbroken!

6 something?? Are you kidding me? Wow. Stellar job, Andrew.

Andrew- Awesome job! That is wicked fast.

This was my first Jackie and I did a 9:50.

your next Jackie will drop at least a minute. The trick to this WOD is pacing the 1000m row. Ryan told me your row was super fast, so next time you can ramp it back slightly and leave more in the tank for thrusters and pulls. Good time though regardless!

"Ramp it back?" I've never heard of that.

  • September 9, 2009 at 7:12 pm

Ryan told me Bo did the 1000m row like that was the only part of the WOD, albeit very fast, but he could have done better if he'd "ramped it back" a little, and saved some for the thrusters and pulls.

But if you have some better advice? What was your Jackie again? 🙂

You misunderstand me. I don't have Jackie advice; I have grammar and syntax advice. I would say "ramp it up" or "dial it back."
