When is Halloween social?
The Social is on Thur the 29th at 7pm. The location has yet to be determined. I was thinking either Capital Bar or The Pour House if there open.

Badger is the only workout i've ever quit in the middle.
I encourage you all to do it prescribed (Bo!). My coach used to talk about intestinal fortitude all the time and this WOD totally embraces that. Best of luck to all!Badger – 44:40

The first time this WOD came up was December 07. It was the first WOD I ever quit. I tried again this summer – Angie and I both finished it. It's a HERO WOD – it's supposed to be hard and a test for you….Angie's description is spot on. Don't be intimidated by it, but instead embrace the suck and see how far you can go.
For all looking at an alternative to todays monstrosity of a workout, I submit this WOD..

Stopped the clock at 11:02 after round 1 to find out why Rex was crying. Never started it back up again. I felt pretty good about my times and breaks so it may've been a high 30 or low 40 (which is good for me). I'm planning on never doing it again.
49:13 – rx'd and PR!
I like this WOD because the first time I did it, I quit – I couldn't do all of the pullups and it broke me. The second time I did it, I finished, but I think I scaled the pullups. This was #3, and I finished it Rxd. It's proof that if you work on your weaknesses, you get better at everything else. Pullups were my weakness for SO long, and today, they were the easiest part for me.
I love that Crossfit exposes what you are weak at and forces you to get stronger.

So, I don't come on Thursdays and it looks like I should be glad that I don't. I'll have to try this one…someday. I hope to see you guys this afternoon. I'm shooting for the 4:30 class so I can get home and go out tonight. I've been waiting for Friday all week long!AC
