How do you answer the question, “What is CrossFit??”
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program consisting of functional movements performed at high intensity. This program pulls from many realms of fitness such as gymnastics, olympic weightlifting, power lifting, and running to make short, timed workouts that focus on increased work capacity. The workouts are competitive, fun, effective, and break the monotony of the typical, boring session seen at a globo gym.
If I say that, people go, “HUH??” They don’t get it. So, how do you explain it? I end up babbling and sound like I’ve joined a cult…. 🙂
