Posted on 09. Mar, 2010 by in Workout of the Day

“Angie”
100 Pull-ups
100 Push-ups
100 Sit-ups
100 Squats

Scale:
50 Pull-ups
50 Push-ups
50 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Post time to comments.

Angie is a tough WOD, one that you have to be wise in your approach. Scale as necessary because 100 pullups is no joke. The average Angie time is around 20 minutes – scale what you need to in order to get in the 20 minute time frame.

Even though Ryan is showing his contempt for me by ignoring my request to make the sectionals workout the Tuesday WOD, I’m still going to try to do it at 4:30. If anyone wants to join me, it’s:

    For time:
    Run 250m
    25 Snatches (75/45)
    25 Kettlebell Swings (55/35)
    25 Overhead Squats (75/45)
    25 Box Jumps (20″/16″)
25 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (75/45)
    25 Wallballs (20#@10ft / 14#@8ft)
    25 Thrusters (75/45)
    Run 250m
    20 minute time limit.

Oh I don’t think it rises to contempt, to get that level of attention he’d have to think enough of you to consider the idea at all.

But is your motivation on this that you are sick of doing Angie?

I don’t think its a question of whether or not he is sick of doing Angie. I think Angie is just out of his league.

We were clever enough to get stuck in traffic and overloaded with school work. Heard ass was kicked though.
