I haven’t posted many gymnastic movements lately and was looking for some videos for handstands (not against the wall handstands). I came across Katie and Caroline…..the stretches are the most interesting part- when I saw Katie stretch her shoulders, I thought of Andy.

Here’s a classic CrossFit video featuring Nicole Carroll doing handstand variations.

Have you worked on your HSPU lately??

I decree that I am now officially inspired by Lucas’ level of effort. I asked him before the Wednesday wod if he planned on trying and he said “Yeah!” and something inspiring about there being no reason to do the workout if you weren’t going to go intensely and that he hoped he was inspirational. Therefore, I will put forth max effort on this workout tomorrow and kick its ass!

Except on the running part because I hate that.

    And the snatches.

The rain came a little late. It would have been nice to cool off during the 400m parts of the WOD.

I’m inspired that Max is inspired. Looks like another doozy. Let’s do it to it at 4:30.

Brent Dike is a beast!! (Was that before coffee?) He was already back home, dressed and at the office before I could even finish the 2nd 400m.

Great, killer WOD. Go Roosters! Cock-o-doodle-doo!!

Damn…the roosters are all jacked up after this morning’s WOD. That was a tough one. I think I finished in 15:27 (as rx’ed). Newley and Dike dusted me whatever it was. Snatches were a problem. Almost forgot….someone needs to bring a sippy cup for Dike next week (see Wed’s massive coffee spill). I got no babies in the house so can’t provide.
