    12:50 something (no pull ups did push ups instead) – big Rooster class this morning – it was good to see everybody!!!

    score one more for crossfit!

    exercise: large tire flips. (the big one)

    method: get low, drive your shoulders into it, get a leg beneath it and drive the weight up and forward

    application: overweight woman. fallen and can’t get up off the floor. normally, the simple deadlift technique is all it takes to get somebody up. not this time…. not when she is 400#. i put my shoulder in her back, grabbed her ass… and flipped her like a tire.

    I really don’t like the term near miss. A near miss should be a hit. A near hit should be a miss.

    Eric- no worries! My teacher response would be, “I threw that in there just to see if you were paying attention” – haha..

    GREAT classes today at 4:30 and 6! I hope everyone posts their times!

    Lucas and Manton tore up the WOD in the 6 pm class, and in true team fashion, Lucas ran 400m with Karlie after he had finished his WOD, so that no one ran alone. NICE.
