CrossFit Total, your choice:

#1 CFT Original
Back Squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep

#2 CFT New
Power Clean, 1 rep
Bench Press, 1 rep
Overhead Squat, 1 rep

The CrossFit Total is a measure of strength. You get three attempts to achieve a 1 rep max for each lift (you will spend time warming up to get to the weights for your three attempts). Your CFT (score) is the sum of each of your three best lifts. (If this is your first CFT, you can read more here.)

This is not a timed event – it’s an WOD of strength. Plan some time for this one because it will take a little longer to complete. Post score to comments. Compare to April 1, 2010.

The chart below is an indicator of Total scores from HQ.

    Clean 185

    Overhead Squat 145

All PR’s – a lot of weight thrown around by the Roosters!!!

    Back Squat & Dead Lift – 275, Press – 135 = 685

All the heavy lifters showed up this morning. Glad the women were in the middle. Saved me from being totally emasculated.

Scott, you should look into getting a calculator. 295+265 was giving you fits.

Faith, no way you weigh that much.

Glad I got to intermediate. I would hate to still be a novice after 6 months.

    #2 CFT New

    Clean – 205 (PR)
OHS – 175 – Never tried max before
Bench – 215 – 100 lbs under my PR from HS

    Total – 595

Plus a tweaked back and jammed finger. Is the chart for CFT #1 or #2. If it is #2 I am very close to novice.

Frank the Tank rocked power clean today with a 20 pound PR, 205lbs. Nice work.

Tony G is a maniac, 345 bench? 245 OHS? Silly strong. But if you ever feel inferior just compare Cindy scores.

Nice work girls! Amy, Debbie and Marie, I really enjoyed lifting with ya’ll!

    Ok so..

    Back squat – we can’t remember, 165??
    Press – 75
    Deadlift – 185

    So something like 425??

All you boys are impressive… it’s fun to watch. And thanks for giving us tips and stuff.

Eric, how in the world am I supposed to respond to that!? “Yes, I DO weigh that much”… punk.

Great job girls!! Marie is hanging in!
    CF # 1
    BS 165 Press 75 Dead lift 165.

Eric, another thing is you never joke about a girls weight!! Faith will kick your ass for that remark!

Tony’s Cindy score better be less than 5 otherwise your method still makes me feel inferior Andrew.

Who’s joking Amy? My comment was more of a compliment seeing as she has zero fat on her. Man, women are so negative.

    p.s. I would kick Faith’s butt

Eric I doubt Tony has ever done Cindy, but why would he really. If you can press an elephant it doesn’t really matter how many air squats you can do.

Sorry to miss this one. In Aspen so tried to run up Ajax mountain. It turned into walk a little rest a little, repeat. Then ran down.
