    11:00 Rx

    A monumental day in CF7 history. I came in first place! There were doubters (Ryan) who put me in group 2, but I overcame the odds. A new age has begun. A better age.

    All jokes aside, I’m not certain how I beat Brent, Kyle, Newly, and Scott. Hopefully they can kick my butt on the next workout.

    Lots of new faces this AM and Lori is back!

    Tabata sit-ups, yep, Lori is BACK! 😀

    (I’m proud of myself for showing up, my sister is coming up on 45 hours of labor with her first baby and I was at the hospital till midnight and in bed around 1:30.. baby is still not here, please pray for her!)

    Nice work Eric, that was awesome!! And you were all like, “thrusters are not my thing.. running is not my thing… blah blah blah” good job!

    John, me and Lori wanna know what that website is to buy two rockin’ awesome jump ropes, the one you suggested..?

    Faith-you can get jumpropes a couple of places….

    Buddy Lee Jumpropes are flat out the best.

    Again Faster has other ropes too. (David, you can get your lifting shoes here too)….

    This is specifically the one I have. I got it for a little cheaper on Amazon.com.

    I’ve never seen one of the new Again Faster Revolution Ropes but that’s what I’d buy from them.

    12:25 Rx. Eric, out of curiousity are these run of the mill ‘roids your taking or is this some of the new designer stuff? I think it may be time to start the mandatory drug testing program at CF7. Either way, great job. I think I counted 18 roosters this morning…who’d a thought.

    Great wod, but totally kicked my butt.
    Thanks Amie on advice on thrusters. I was so concerned on doing them correctly, Didnt want Ryan saying anything, could not afford to start over on those things.

    Also.. great finish Eric, and glad to see Lori back . “hens” (did John actually say that) I think I’ll have to kick his ass for that remark!!!! And I do recall, you have several times participated in the tabata!!! Maybe you didn’t work out hard enough! haha

    Well I don’t have a 20# vest so I used 135# instead of 95#. So as rx’d w/135# 18:07.

    OK……

    Paukune beat me by almost a full minute today – but I had this stupid idea of pressing Manton on the run, which is to say at 100M into the first run he left me in the dust and I was gassed.

    I really need to stay up late one night and work out with the Guinea in the morning, mainly because of David’s reference to having done the run portion of today’s WOD “Rx.”

    What does non-Rx running look like? Roller skates? Or maybe that thing Andy does of just turning around midway?

    Mrs. Rue(i)z taught today’s 4:30 today. Getting way leaned out and very muscled up going into the CrossFit Games.

    Gotta agree with John on this one, Faith. You should be so utterly and completely spent that the idea of working out one more minute is just obscene.
    I usually throw in some GHD situps when I PURPOSELY go half-ass… like anything with Running. Or Burpees. Or Thrusters.

    It is good to be back!!! The tabata pic is cracking me up….looks like I’m sporting a new coiffure(sp?) Eric, I’m so proud of you!!! I was sucking air so loudly I missed the celebration and glad to know we were “bookends” for this one….I came in DEAD LAST?*#**!!…and my experience was NOT a first. haha
