Kelly Starrett, aka KStar, is part of CrossFit HQ staff, and I would describe him as a cross between Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi when it comes to mobility and recovery. The man knows his stuff. KStar launched a new blog last week, “Mobility WOD”:

    I did the first mobility WOD yesterday (posted Aug. 22) of 10 minutes accumulated in the bottom of the squat. Welcome to the pain cave, indeed! The last two minutes are harder than the first eight….

    17:55 115#

    There is minimal push in my push press, which made the WOD very hard.

    Now that there are classes 6 days a week I might miss the morning runs. We shall see.

    15:55 with 115#

    I really wanted to use 95, but since my shoulder isn’t hurting anymore, Ryan guilted me into 115. I am glad I did because I do need to start pushing my strength.
