Mobility WOD

WOD:

Lifting at lunch at the University of San Diego…these are Coach B’s athletes who lift heavy every Saturday!

In the world of weightlifting, we miss lifts often. But rarely do we talk about the right way to miss a lift. As coaches, we assume people will dump the weight and move out of the way. Missing is not intuitive, and there are some people who will fight to save a lift. If you are competing in the Olympics, save your lift. Anywhere else, don’t save it – drop it! Here’s how:

What?? no posts yet?? You all are the umbilical cord to the world of crossfit for those of us sick and shut-in. I’m on last of steroids and antibiotics….looking out the window at snow covered weights….hmmmm, naaaaah ~ couldn’t “throw weights” on hardwoods and wall ball may hit chandelier!/**#!!

I would like to INVITE all girls (and guys tell your wives), if you have ever been curious to visit, become a part of, or at one time were a part and want to get back in, “Intro Night” (guest night) for Bible Study Fellowship (“BSF”) is this next Monday, Feb 7, 6:55 p.m. This will be one of the last opportunities to visit this year. The one I attend is held at University Baptist across from the TCU Campus behind University Christian Church. I know it’s hard w/little ones on Monday night, but if you like it, your school age children can be a part of the school program at the same time you are in the adult study. And, there are day groups at different locations that have studies for preschoolers. Just let me know….would love to meet up or just tell you where to be and what time. And, you are not obligated…would love for you to come to hear what it’s all about. Text, email me or whatever!!
