Classic CrossFit!

I don’t even know where to begin on Chris Spealler, aka Speal. He embodies everything that is awesome about CrossFit. He is an HQ trainer, affiliate owner and CrossFit legend. He is one of a handful of people who have competed in all four CrossFit Games, getting as high as third-place finish in 2010. At the awards ceremony in 2010, the dynamic athlete from Utah was given the Spirit of the Games Award for embodying the true character of CrossFit. Check out this video series from the CFJ on Speal and his experience in the CrossFit Games.

What I find most impressive about Speal is that he is not the biggest competitor physically, but it does not matter what elements are in the WOD, he is so consistently good at EVERYTHING. He weighs in at 135 lb., dominates body weight movements and can clean and jerk 235 lbs.

It’s hard to post just one video of Speal….if you have a favorite that isn’t here, post to comments!
