“Total Tabata”

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are kettlebell swings (53 lb./35 lb.), the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

    Controversy at C7 – The Gloves come off…..!
    Today at C7 there was another big controversy with noted “bad boy” David Walters. Last week Walters’ push ups were questioned for not being full range of motion, while he claimed to have completed the WOD “RX”. This morning, when Ryan told him he was not completing his squats with the full range of motion – the tempers flared. In a manner that would have made Bobby Knight proud Walters said, “this is bull Sh*t” and through his workout gloves across the room (why he wears gloves is still unknown). Another asterisk goes by Walters’ score.

    Walters left C7 saying, “this never happens at the spin class at 24 Hour Fitness!” Glassman has issued several warnings to the controversial crossfitter but the community is waiting to see what will happen after this last outburst.

    Sank (an honest crossfitter) saw Walters down at the Northside this morning being fitted for a clogging outfit. It was reported that he asked the salesperson to build up his clogging shoes in the heel because he doesn’t like to lock out his knees. Walters told Sank “he wanted to participate in a sport where the standards were loose and he could really express himself.”

    Be sure and stand tall out of your air squats because locking your knees and having some spine tilt evidently doesn’t work. Hopefully CF standards will be explained and enforced at all times and universally.

    Kune – Spend more time giving an all out effort to all your WODs and less on your attempts at Hemingway.

    Went to 4:15 class yesterday – great group…non-controversial(??) Tempted to hit the Rooster class again to see the testosterone competition?*#**!!
