Three important notes!

1. Put your stuff here!
You will notice several pieces of new equipment – awesome! Space is going to be tight until the expansion is complete…if you were around on Friday, you saw how quickly it got “crowded” with 30 people inside and outside of the gym. Help us with space and make sure all of your gym bags and personal items are stored in the cubbies or in the lockers.

Also, please remember to re-rack your weights and put away anything you used in WOD. When you put the plates away, please make sure to stack them in the correct stack. Kilo plates are closest to the door, and though they are the same color, they are not the same weight. Please put pound plates on pounds and kilos on kilos. THANK YOU!

2. Lost and found!

The lost and found locker has an entire closet of clothes! We folded and sat them on top of the new cubbies…After we made a pile of the clothes we are pretty sure are Andy’s :), we left the others out so you can claim what is yours. Anything not claimed by Friday will be donated to Goodwill.

3. University St. construction…..if you traveled down University Sunday morning, you would see this!! On Harvey street (just north of the Botanical Gardens – it’s the street to go into Will Rogers, etc.), University is closed to one lane in both directions. It creates a bit of a traffic jam, so please take alternate routes if you can!

Faith competed in the Benbrook sprint Triathlon last week and won first in her age category! Faith says, “Crazy thing is, I haven’t biked or swam since last summer – the week before the the race, I crammed in a couple bike rides and a swim.. CrossFit really works! I also had this crazy idea after the bike ride to run barefoot since I couldn’t feel my feet anyway (it was cold)!” WAY TO GO, FAITH!!!

    8:20 RX fun workout today. Broke me off. I should have given more on the last box jump.

    9:03 RX – thruster burpee thruster sequence really knocks it out of you, but good workout

    10:20 RX. Good one!

    Please allow me to say thanks to Lauren. I asked Lauren to put my 11 year old daughter through a workout last Friday. Lauren did and my daughter really worked hard and had fun. Thank you Lauren.
