Strength:
Work to a heavy deadlift

(Read this on keeping your chest up in your start position. The start position will be the same for deadlift, and you will want to be really aware of protecting your lower back and not lifting with a rounded back.)

WOD:
4 rounds for time of:

20 Kettlebell snatches (10 snatches left arm, 10 snatches right arm; 53lb./35lb.)
20 Walking lunges
10 Box jumps

MWOD:
Grip training

    9:39 with 45#kb on WOD

    there is a new Hercules in the box and he looks like Daniel; strong to very strong

    Tearing up my shins last week on box jumps made for a tough time on DLs today – didn’t do them. 12:30 on the WC – KBsnatches are kindof fun.

    Had a busy day yesterday and didn’t make time for MWOD — paid dearly for that today, and my quads reminded me why MWOD is important 🙂

    DL to 205, sweaty legs make the bar slick, just sayin’

    My quads were screaming and almost wouldn’t fire for the box jumps…finished a little over 10 mins,
    All-in-all a great morning!

    Got a new DL PR @ 255#!!!! Huzzah!!!

    12:46 with the short box jump and only 26lb kettlebell. weak sauce.
