    Volunteer Opportunity.
Healthy volunteers aged 18 to 35 and 65 to 85 years old needed for a research study

The Physical Therapy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Departments are recruiting healthy volunteers, aged 18 to 35 and 65 to 85 years old for a study entitled, “Maintaining balance in conditions of sensory conflicts”. The purpose of these experiments is to understand how humans use different sensory inputs in order to maintain balance and perform functional tasks such as walking and reaching. Participation in the study involves 1 visit to the laboratory for approximately 2 hours. Subjects will explore virtual environments; interact with different virtual objects, and their ability to control balance while walking on a treadmill and performing whole body movements will be assessed. Compensation will be provided. If you are interested in participating in our study please call 817-735-0563.

    John Lokey,
I appreciate your participation in Karli’s alcohol education program. I’ll feel better sending her to college knowing she’ll be able to identify a lecherous senior spot on.
