Olympic lifting is like a teeter-totter.

As the bar travels up, you PRESS YOUR BODY DOWN UNDER THE BAR. Much like a teeter-totter, when one side comes up, the other side is driving down to the ground.


(Check out his hair! His hair is flying up which means he is pressing his body DOWN.)

Watch the video the pictures above came from and watch the athletes press and drive their body down and around the barbell. The ground is your friend!

    Hit 175# by round 15, then matched my Pr on 16 with 185#

    OHS got a 20# PR at 225#!

    Good lifting day!
