In honor of Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Taylor, 30, of Little Creek, VA who was killed in Afghanistan in 2006. “JT” is the first HERO WOD CrossFit did, first posted July 5, 2006. Read through some of those initial comments, and you’ll see comments from men who served with JT.

    21:41 (95# press). Deceptively difficult. First round went pretty fast then arms just stopped working. Rounds 2 & 3 not fun.

    Three coaches this morning with Ryan, Squared, and Curtis. Evidently they brought in all the muscle to try to keep the roosters in check Good luck — we will not be controlled!

    I finished at 18:05 – Including a few mandatory no counts. Not sure if I could have finished without them.

    16:22. 10 minutes betterer than last time. If I can shave 10 more minutes off next time, I’ll have the world record and people would actually like me.
