U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Desforges, 23, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was killed on May 12, 2010, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his parents David and Arlene, and his loving sister Janelle.

    Grip and arms just wore out after 3 rounds.

    This was a killer. Scaled the reps: 5 rds. : 8, 10, 8, 10
    Dead lifts 105 lbs : 75 lbs C and J

    Terrible on grip… Scaled reps 8,10, 8, 10. 5 rps
    167lbs deadlift … Yes, not enough 10# plates, so used

    3 rounds of 185 and 95. 26:43

    Right as I finished round 1 I was thinking it was going to be hard just to finish 2 rounds. I made it through 3 but it nearly killed me. That was one of the more challenging workouts I have done in a long time.
