2 rounds of:

10 Squats
5 Burpees
5 Pull-ups
5 Thrusters
100m Run

Every minute on the minute for five minutes perform 10,8,6,4,2 strict handstand push ups

(First set is 10 HSPU. Second minute is 8 HSPU. Third minute is 6 HSPU, etc.)

For time:

800m Run

(3 rounds of: 10 Power cleans, 20 Wallballs)

I watched “Turtle: The Incredible Journey” last weekend. It was AMAZING! It follows the life of a loggerhead turtle, and I was hooked right away because this turtle is really a CrossFitter at heart:

1) When they are born, they are super small, about the size of a child’s hand, their feet are about the size of butterfly wings, and they have no teeth. Yet, as soon as they are born, it’s “3,2,1….Go!”, and they make a run for the ocean.

2) Once in the ocean, they start swimming with their little butterfly wing size feet. Interestingly enough, they know where to go because turtles have an internal GPS that they can use the Earth’s longitude lines to navigate (you have to watch the movie to get the scientific explanation for this – it’s actually pretty cool). Their swim is their indoctrination to the ways of a CrossFitter. This little turtle that is the size of a child’s hand swims for two days and two nights straight to reach specific currents in the ocean. Once they hit the right spot, they jump on groups of corral that act as a raft and sleep.

That teeny-tiny turtle is a true CrossFitter, putting forth maximum effort in the shortest amount of time possible, and then finding a good place to rest.
