Holley Mangold is headed to the Olympics. Holly talks about the perfect lift, that synchrony of movements where bar and body dance so well that both are transformed from steel and sinew to something more like poetry. Holly is a big lifter, 350 lbs., and yet when the lift comes together “[it’s] like peace, there’s no struggle. That’s what we’re all searching for, that feeling of weightlessness.”

    The clock said 10:00 when I got through…just going to pretend that was my time! This WOD kicked my as$. I have a lot to work on…specifically weighted pull-ups!

    10:00 clock + 2:50 stopwatch after the clock stopped = 12:50.

    13:42. Would’ve been sub-5 without the Pullups and Farmers Walk- they made the DU’s and Wallballs too hard.
