Do you ever see something and think, “I know that’s tough, but it really doesn’t look that hard – they make it look so easy!” And yet, something you’ve done in CrossFit, like rope climbs, hand stand walks/pushups, or muscle ups makes you realize what you are seeing is ridiculously hard.

Here are three things I’ve seen recently that make me appreciate strength and balance that is possible in the human body:

1. These two guys are amazing. Watch for the part around 2:45 where one guy balances the other guy vertically on his neck, and then they do the splits.

2. The rings….

3. I caught this clip last week while flipping through the channels….I’m not sure which part impresses me more. The fact that the girl climbs up the rope with just her arms like it’s no big deal, or the part where she can hang on with one arm and make a perfect sideways plank mid-air while spinning. It’s just flat amazing.

    Wonderful cool morning at CF Park City:

    Lot of pre-WOD dynamic stretching and jumping

    WOD – Death by 10 meters
    Every minute sprint 10 meters adding another 10 meters in form of shuttle run – 14 rounds, failed on 15; top guy goes 17

    90 second holds each on superman and front lean rings
