How long have you been a CrossFitter?
What is your previous sports/fitness background?
High School Sports. Marine Corps for 17 years and counting!
What is your favorite CrossFit WOD?
Jackie or Annie. (Jackie because it is one of the few I have beat Curtis at!)
Your Fran time?
What athlete (CrossFit or otherwise) do you admire most and why?
Michael Jordan. A true competitor and the greatest basketball player of all time. He brought his sport to its highest level of popularity and he had a unique ability to make his teammates better on the court.
What do you hope to accomplish by doing CrossFit?
Improve my overall fitness level and live a healthier lifestyle.
Do you train for a specific purpose (ie, another sport)?
What are your CrossFit goals?
Positive gains. Stronger, Faster, and more fit every day!
Do you paleo or zone?
Paleo but I don’t get overly stressed or concerned if a eat the occasional bun or piece of cheese. I also have a weakness for frozen yogurt.
Would you rather do 100 burpees, 100 pullups or 100 squats?
I like them all….how about all three as a WOD.
What do you do when you are not at CrossFit?
I am a Marine, a Father, and a Husband. I love spending time with my family and serving my country.

What is on your favorite Cross Fit t-shirt?
My Crossfit Invictus shirt. “I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul”
What do you do for warmup?
Row, air squats, run, joint mobility. I try and focus on movements involved in the WOD.
What do you do for recovery? How often do you take rest days?
Roll and stretch. I take Sunday off.
What is the best piece of advice you’d give a new CrossFitter?
Listen to your body. Rest more than I do. Embrace the community.
What CrossFit certs have you been to or hope to go to?
I hope to go to a level one cert by the end of the year. I really want to go to an Oly Cert too.

What do you like best about CrossFit Seven?
Without a doubt, the people.

Over the past year I have developed what some would call an obsession to crossfit. Crossfit Seven and its members are to blame and I can’t thank you enough!
