CRAYON AND COAT DRIVE

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price is calling for us to support our local schools with school supplies and winter coats. CF7 will collect donations through Saturday, October 20, and then donate the items to the Crayon and Coat Drive!

The Wish List:
*New or gently used coats
*Crayons
*Pencils
*Glue and glue sticks
*Scissors
*Rulers
*Notebook paper
*Folders
*Spiral notebooks
*Markers
*Kleenex

If you would like to donate, there will be a box in the lobby at CF7 to place your items in. Donations will be collected through Saturday, October 20.

    Amie, kids in Arlington are required to print out worksheets and notes at home when a few years ago these things were handed out in school. Would donating printer paper to teachers make it possible for schools to print for their classes again, or is the cost of the copying the cause of the problem?

    I know a lot of students, even at TCC, don’t have printers, don’t have ink, don’t have paper.

    I’m not sure – the only things listed on the sheet I got are the items above. I’m sure they’d love some computer paper if you have some to donate 🙂
