The Open starts on Thursday, Feb. 27. There will be a live announcement and workout demo on the CrossFit Games site every Thursday night; you will have until the following Monday to complete the workout and post your score on the Games site. Amie will validate your score each week, and the top three male and female scores each week will help contribute to the overall team score. Your score cannot hurt our team score – all it can do is help!
For sake of validation, please have all of your scores submitted by Monday at 3pm.
In order for your score to be validated, each workout you complete must be judged by a CrossFit Level 1 coach. There will be a pre-approved list of coaches who can judge your WOD. We will have set times for each WOD on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. If you cannot make the scheduled WOD, you must set up a time with a judge (please do not show up to the box right before a class and expect someone to be available to judge you). And for sake of fairness and objectivity, please do not ask your best friend/workout partner to be your judge – we want to run a clean competition and hold high standards for everyone competing.
