We are hosting the CrossFit Weightlifting Trainer Course in October! Yes, October feels forever away, but this course will sell out. If you are interested in registering, reserve your spot today (and you can start making payments for the registration fee).
Click here to register! I promise the course is worth every penny (I’m not at all biased when I say it’s the best course 🙂 ).
Day 1 of the course is dedicated to the Burgener Warmup, Snatch and Snatch positions. The lift is broken down piece by piece, and you will learn how to feel what the correct position is, how to see it in others, and how to correct it. There’s a lot of work done with PVC pipe and very light weight.
Day 2 covers the front squat and clean and jerk. Day 2 has more lifting in it because everything you need to know on clean and jerk, you already learned with snatch positions. That’s the beauty of the course: you will see that each position and movement carries over to the other, and they aren’t as independent of each other as you might think.
I love this course because everyone that attends sees immediate improvement of their lifts just by changing and cleaning up their positions. It’s also really fun to see when each person has their “ah-ha” moment and everything clicks – that is my absolute favorite part!
If you have no desire to coach and just want to get better at lifting, this course is for you too! By learning how to coach a lift properly, your own lifts will improve. So sign up today!!!
