About the cause

On September 11, we watched in horror as the events of that day unfolded. Ultimately, 343 first-responders lost their lives as they did what they do every day…work tirelessly to save lives, despite the risk.

In the years following the attacks, firefighters across the county organized memorial stair climbs, each participant paying tribute to a lost first-responder by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, marking sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but also symbolically completing their heroic journey to save others.

Members of our Armed Forces also work tirelessly to save lives, despite the risk. And countless numbers of civilians have them to thank for ensuring that America still stands STRONG and FREE.

Climb for a Calling is open to all those individuals who want to pay tribute to and honor those who have given their lives in the line of duty…whether they be Veterans or First-Responders.

Join us on September 13 at Climb for a Calling, symbolically climbing for someone you choose to honor for their sacrifice in the line of duty. Proceeds benefit Sons of the Flag, Fort Worth Fire Fighters Charities and Recovery Resource Council.

If anyone has any questions on this, please email me at ryantcu79@gmail.com. We need participants, especially this being a first time event. It is going to be family friendly and a lot of fun.
